Intimate Seguin, Texas Wedding | Seguin Wedding Photographer | Power Plant Seguin Wedding Photos

Love finds a way, y’all. Imagine a third grade Dina, hanging out with all the kids on the cul de sac in their little neighborhood of Seguin, Texas. She was the only girl of the group – one of the boys, and also the one everyone wanted to date. Life happens, everyone grows up. People tend to stick close to this little town, so everyone stays relatively in touch. Dina marries a wonderful man, but three years ago, Dina is widowed. Dina told me that she never really had plans to date again after that. She didn’t want to start over with anyone. Luckily, she didn’t have to, because Don, one of those kids from the cul de sac, a lifelong friend, swept her off her feet. Imagine getting to marry your best friend twice!
Dina got ready at the beautiful Park Plaza hotel and their nuptials were held at the historic Powerplant restaurant in Seguin. In attendance were the rest of the kids from the cul de sac, as well as Dina and Don’s children and grandchildren. It was my honor to capture the wedding day of these elementary school sweethearts. Oh, and Dina totally knocked it out of the park on the dance floor that night – scroll down to check out her reception dress!
S/O to Jeff Koehler of Design Associates in Seguin for doing such a wonderful job planning Don and Dina’s day, as well as designing the florals! Those pops of orange are EVERYTHING.
